We know how hard it can be to find a design that fits, that's why we offer the possibility of customising our range or going completely bespoke.
While our standard sizes are great for most homes, our custom service lets you tweak, shrink or expand most of our designs to make your kilim or carpet the perfect fit.
In terms of design, all rugs are customisable to the colours of your preference, choosing from a wide array of colour samples. Go a step further with our bespoke service, allowing you to create your very own design from scratch.

FREE CONSULTATION
During a free online or in-person consultation, we guide you through options for different designs, colours, sizes and finishes. Our colour and design swatches will help you define the perfect concept design to match your interior.
The final design is then translated into a technical sketch for the weavers to work from. Once approved, the order is placed with our partners who will bring your design to life.
Our complimentary consultations can take place in ISHKAR's London store, in your home if you live within London, or remotely via phone or video call for all our international customers.

PRODUCTION
Our rugs are all handmade in northern Afghanistan from Ghazni wool. Each carpet or kilim takes a team of two or more weavers between 3-6 months to make, depending on the size.
We share photos of the process from dyeing the wool, to weaving, washing and finishing the rug to an exquisite finish. Once it's completed, we ship internationally straight to your door.
